§ Ky Willson is the Magnet Coordinator here at HSPVA. She has been teaching Career and Technology curriculum for three years. A graduate of the University of Houston, Mrs. Willson earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and is a member of the National Business Education Association and Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars. Motivated to encourage youth to pursue goals and learn various skills, she decided to teach after a successful career in Banking and Finance. Previously, she has served on the Shared Decision Making Committee, the Thomas Parent/Teacher Organization, and sponsored the Thomas campus supply store. Mrs. Willson participates with city work programs assisting youth in career preparation skills. She shares a love of reading, traveling, and restaurants with her husband, Brian, as well as spending time with her dog, Shenzi.
