§ Rosie Chow has been the registrar at HSPVA since 2000. She holds a Bachelors degree with a major in English Literature from the University of Saint Thomas. She also has two years of graduate study at Rice University. Mrs. Chow taught English in HISD from 1958-1966 at Hartman Junior High before retiring from the teaching profession to raise children, of which she has four. In 1986 she returned to work as a substitute teacher, working primarily at HSPVA. Mrs. Chow improved her bridge game when she taught bridge classes at the Jewish Community Center 1974-1982. She loves to read, play bridge, and play mah jong. She has enjoyed being connected with HSPVA since she reentered the teaching profession to take a long term substitute position some years ago. She finds the students delightful and always interesting.
